 Games Index > Lines!

On the 5 by 5 grid the computer has laid down a number of parallel lines. The line is either a single, double, triple, or quadruple line. All lines are three squares long (or tall). There is one such line placed in each row, and one in each column. There are three singles, three doubles, two triples, and two quadruples.

If you want to get an idea of what it looks like, just click "SOLVE!" below, and it will show you what is hidden. Then, you may start a "New Game". In "Show Info" mode, each time you click, the computer will show you in the upper-left corner, how many lines pass through, start, or end in that square. In "Edit Test Lines" mode, you may lay down what you think is the correct arrangement. Clicking on a square draws horizontal lines (clicking again in the same place makes a single to a double, a double to a triple, and a triple to a quadruple, line. In the square at the start of the line, in the lower left corner, is an "x". Clicking on it reduces the line from a quadruple to triple, etc. For vertical lines, hold down the SHIFT key while clicking.

You start out with a score of 25 (it is shown in the status line below), and for each square you do a "Show Info" on, it is reduced by one. Good luck, and let me know via EMAIL what you think of the game!
